Form and Appearance of the Board for Construction

The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property has adopted

Rulebook on Amendments to the Rulebook on the Form and Appearance of the Board for Construction of Facilities and Family Residential Buildings

(“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, no. 086/25 of 01.08.2025).

This regulation introduces changes regarding the appearance and content of the board that is mandatory at construction sites of all facilities and family residential buildings, in accordance with the applicable legislation.

Main amendments

According to the new rulebook:

• Annex 1 of the previous rulebook from April 2025, which defined the appearance of the board, is amended.
• The board must comply with the revised standards and content prescribed by the Ministry.
• This ensures greater transparency regarding data on construction and investors.

Boards at construction sites serve several functions:

• Informative role – citizens are provided with insight into basic information about the investor, contractor, and project.
• Legal certainty – the prescribed form and content guarantee that all participants in construction act in accordance with the law.
• Standardization – a unified appearance of the boards enables a clear and recognizable practice throughout the territory of Montenegro.

The rulebook enters into force on the eighth day from the date of its publication in the “Official Gazette of Montenegro”.

From that moment, all new projects must apply the new provisions.
